A few years ago, the Lord spoke to me about starting a healing ministry. And do you know the response I gave Him? "Me, Lord? I am not a qualified person to call." But over time, the Lord revealed that He could use me in this way and that was His wish. From that time forward, I have read and studied the works of the great people God used for healing down through time. . . William Seymour in the wonderful outpouring in California at Azusa Street, the astounding works of Maria Woodworth-Etter, and of course, Smith Wigglesworth, just an ordinary plumber from England whom the Lord used mightily.
As I learned more about the area of healing, I became convinced and convicted about the fact that what Jesus did on the cross in the atonement included healing of our bodies, minds, and spirits. I further believe that not only did Jesus show the apostles how to minister to people in this way, he sent 72 others out and commissioned them to do the very same. I believe that is what the Church of Jesus Christ is called to do in this day and age. These miracles, signs, and wonders do not stop, and if you look for them in faith, they will happen today.
Redemptive Glory Church is a Spirit-filled New Testament church that embraces healing along with each of the gifts of the Spirit that are listed in I Corinthians 12:8. We strive to be a church that is in tune with what the Holy Spirit is doing today. Our goal is to worship the Living One who meets us as we come before Him, and who changes us to be in the likeness of Jesus. We are non-denominational and practice only what the New Testament teaches. We observe the sacraments of baptism by immersion, Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month, and service to the body of Christ.
